Recommendation to Students

A strict disciplinary action will be taken against any defaulter.

Kindly do not give money to the student unless instructed by the school.

He/She must not use abusive language and disrespectful expressions for others.

Students should be neatly dressed in school uniform on every working day. Students who are not neatly dressed or are not in uniform will be strictly dealt with. He/She must comply with the instructions, regarding proper and standard haircut and school uniform.

Girls should plait their hair if it is below the shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned. Only black ribbons and hairbands are permitted.

Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery in the school (no chains, rings, bangles, and bracelets). Girls may wear only one pair of small ear ring.

He/She must not scribble on the walls/doors of the school building, corridors, toilets etc. No graffiti is allowed on the school walls.

Every student is required to arrive to school on time. He/She will not be permitted after three late arrivals, and a written explanation will be sought for.

Students should get their report cards signed by their parents/guardians within three days of the receipt of the Report Card and return the same to the class teachers. If the card is lost, a fine of Rs. 25/- will be imposed.

He/She must not break school property, furniture, green boards, window panes, smart interactive boards etc. In case someone is found guilty, strict disciplinary action will be taken apart from having made to compensate the loss

Students against whom disciplinary action may have been taken or whose presence in the school may prove to be delrimenlal to the general discipline of the school will not be allowed Lo join the school

He/She is not allowed to bring crackers, holi colours, walkman, I-pads, cell phones, cameras, transistors etc. to the school. The school is not accountable for the loss of any expensive item brought by the child in the school.

In the school buses, students must follow the instructions of the T.O.D. failing which he/she will not be allowed to avail the bus facility. No one apart from the students availing the bus service will be allowed on the bus.

They should be truthful.

At play ground, they should never cheat or be unfair.

They should not waste their time in idle gossip.

They should avoid vulgarity in talk and behaviour.

They should always be amiable in and out of the school.

They should take pride in wearing their school uniform.

They should respect the freedom and the rights of others.

They should take good care of their health and keep robust and strong.

They should stand attentively when any teacher/visitor comes to talk to them.

They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. Through their conduct,

They should earn name, fame and glory for their family, school, and nation.

They should never hesitate to say ‘No’ when asked or tempted to do a thing which they know to be wrong.

They should look upon the people from all parts of the world as their brethren irrespective of their colour, caste and creed.

They should respect the beauty of the classroom and of the school premises and report any damage they may observe.

They should accept and complete whatever work is assigned to them as their rightful share.

They must face difficulties courageously.

They should never be cruel. They must know that cruelty is the trait of bully whereas kindness is the mark of a gentle boy or gentle girl.

Instead of lamenting or cribbing about the evils of the world, they must try to contribute their share in making it a better place to live in.

At home, they must always be ready to lend a helping hand to their parents, brothers, sisters and in school to teachers, companions and any unattended visitor they happen to see in the school premises.

Disciplinary action may result in issuing of a memo on being found guilty. First memo: warning.
Second Memo: Negative reflection on the student’s conduct report.
Third memo: This could lead to rustication.

Recommendation to Guardians

Children, when sick must not be sent to school to attend classes.

Parents must refrain from giving gifts to the teachers on any occasion.

They are requested to inform the school if there is any change in the address/contact no’s.

Parents are requested not to enter the classrooms either to see their children or to seek interviews with teachers during school hours.

Leave for half a day should be avoided as far as possible for security reasons. In an emergency, written permission must be taken from the Principal and the class teacher.

It is always advisable to write to the school about the problems of your ward or for seeking guidance. Whenever you write to the school about your ward, always quote his/her full name, class, section and admission number.

Parent’s are requested lo co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their children’s progress by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in their children’s work.

They should check the diary everyday and note the homework and any other instructions given and acknowledge the same by signing in the space meant for the same.

They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any notice, invitation etc. has been issued.

Parents attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of a teacher or the school in the presence of the child causes the child to lose his/her respect for the teacher and only hinders his/her progress.

Any communication made by the parents should be addressed to Principal and not to the class teacher and all correspondence from the parent to the school must go through Principal.

Parents are requested to co-operate in the working of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and ensuring that the school rules are observed.

Parents are strictly advised to celebrate their child’s birthday in a modest manner. Only toffees should be distributed among the classmates of the child. Distribution of the lavish sweet packets or gift hampers will not be entertained on any occasion in the school.

Norms for Promotion

Promotion will be granted to the student on the basis of his/her overall performance during the academic

session through the newly introduced assessment system defined by CBSE & HBSE.

For class, XI promotion will be granted if a student obtains 40% in all the subjects.

If a student obtains an aggregate of 40% and above but if obtains less than 40% in one or more than one subject, a committee chaired by the Principal will decide the terms and conditions for the promotion.

Absence

It is compulsory for students to maintain 80% attendance in the current academic session in order to be

eligible to take the final exams except on medical grounds.

A child who has been absent on the previous day/days will be allowed to the class only on production of a leave application duly signed by the parent stating the reason for the same.

Leave on medical grounds will be entertained on the production of a medical certificate by an authorized physician.

Leave for going out of station should be sanctioned by the school authorities, prior to proceeding on leave.

Students absenting themselves on tests or exams without prior sanction will be awarded a zero on that test or exam.

All students are expected to attend school on the opening day after each vacation. Those who remain absent without sanctioned leave will be fined(@ Rs.50/- per day.

School Transport

Students can avail the school transport, subject to availability of seats. The school does not entertain any request for change in bus route to suit an individual’s convenience. As a rule, such request should not be made. In case of emergency, parents should take their wards personally with prior permission of the principal.

No student will board the bus without an identity card.

Unauthorized persons are not allowed to travel by the school bus.

The buses will pick up and drop the students from their respective stops as per the school schedule.

Itis the responsibility of the parents to escort their wards into the bus in the morning and from the bus stop in the afternoon.

Bus commuters and escorts are expected to reach their respective stops 10 min. before the scheduled time.

Discipline at the stop and inside the bus should be maintained. Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.

If a student wants to discontinue the bus facility during the session, he will have to pay one month extra charges or give one month notice.

Parents are requested to refrain from breaking into any argument with staff on board. Any grievances regarding bus services or the staff on board should be made to the transport in charge.

The bus facility is extended as a privilege and cannot be claimed as right. It can be withdrawn any time due to any emergency.

Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities in case of delay of bus arrival at the stop. During morning hours a bus commuter is expected to wait at the stop for at least 40 min. for the bus before returning home. 

Students are not allowed to come to school on self driven scooters/motor cycles without licence and helmet.

Parents may meet the following as per the schedule given below:

Principal– All working days (9:30 am. to 11:00 am. & 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)

Teachers – Second & Fourth Saturdays or on appointment

Accounts section – All working days (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Boarders – Second & Fourth Saturdays (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
